We’re looking for a passionate and skilled Barista to join our team and help us serve delicious, expertly brewed coffee while creating a memorable experience for our customers.
Job Responsibilities:
- Prepare and Serve Coffee & Beverages: Brew, prepare, and serve various types of coffee, espresso drinks, and other beverages to the highest quality standards.
- Customer Service: Greet customers with a friendly attitude, answer questions about the menu, and ensure a positive experience.
- Maintain Cleanliness: Keep the café area, including the coffee station, seating areas, and restrooms, clean and organized at all times.
- Cash Handling: Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently, manage the cash register, and handle payments.
- Stock Management: Monitor inventory levels of coffee beans, milk, syrups, and other supplies. Ensure that items are stocked and replaced as needed.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with other team members to ensure smooth operation during busy hours, maintaining a positive and efficient work environment.
- Promotions and Upselling: Promote new beverages, seasonal specials, and loyalty programs to customers, encouraging repeat business.
- Health & Safety Compliance: Ensure all safety and hygiene protocols are followed, keeping in line with health and safety standards.
Requirements:
- Previous Experience: Prior experience as a Barista or in a similar customer service role is preferred but not mandatory.
- Passion for Coffee: A love for coffee and the craft of making quality beverages is essential.
- Customer-Focused: Strong communication skills with a positive attitude toward customers.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to maintain high standards of coffee preparation and presentation.
- Team Player: Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and contribute to a team-oriented workplace.
- Flexible Hours: Willingness to work morning, afternoon, and evening shifts, including weekends.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
